I.V. Sedation is recommended for apprehensive children, very young children, and children with special needs that would not work well under conscious sedation. The dentist performs the dental treatment in our office with the child anesthetized under I.V. sedation, which is administered and monitored by an anesthesiologist.

• Treatment Plan Review
• Pre-sedation instructions given

• Pre-Op Anesthesia Evaluation: Fever, Cough, Asthma, etc.
• NPO (Nothing to eat or drink on the day) confirmation
• Treatment under IV Sedation

• Recovery and Post-Op Review
• Close Monitoring for Remainder of the Day

• Dental Insurance Coverage Verification
• Anesthesia fees are SEPARATE from your dental insurance and depend on your insurance coverage
• For Private Insurance Patients, FULL PAYMENT FOR ANESTHESIA FEES WILL BE REQUIRED ON THE DAY OF SERVICE
